1908 Magazine believes diversity, equity and inclusion to be critical to the future of arts practice. 1908 Magazine will be diverse, equitable and inclusive in casting and hiring practices for all media produced, as is our artistic obligation to contemporary arts practice, leading with conscious commitments to diversity, equity, and inclusion, embracing these values not only as principles, but as vital elements of contemporary arts practice. As artists, we believe the agency of our artists to be most important, and we recognize our responsibility to reflect the world around us, which is rich in perspectives, identities, and lived experiences.
